Shows and Events

No city can match the constant stream of entertainment in Las Vegas, and that includes several amazing resident shows. The Colosseum at Caesars Palace plays host to Cher’s 90-minute production featuring lavish costumes, the latest stage technology and breathtaking choreography.

Country music icon Garth Brooks has brought his unmistakable voice to Encore Las Vegas for an intimate engagement you’ll never forget. It’s the ultimate one-man show – Brooks, a guitar and a chair. Don’t miss country’s biggest superstar in his new home.

For a show combining the mystique of the classic Vegas crooner with modern-day arrangements and high energy, catch international singing sensation Matt Goss at the Palms. See why he’s known as “The Voice” when you catch him and his cast of Pussycat Dolls dancers in this Robin Antin production.

The graceful acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil are also on display in several Las Vegas production spectacles. Watch aquatic artistry in O at Bellagio or enjoy the pageantry of Le Reve at Wynn Las Vegas and KA at MGM Grand.

The new Viva ELVIS by Cirque du Soleil® show at ARIA Resort & Casino at the brand-new CityCenter pays tribute to Elvis’ music and life, fusing dance and acrobatics, live music and iconic tracks, nostalgia and modernity, high technology and raw emotion. Or for something to excite your sensual side, feast your eyes on Peepshow at Planet Hollywood, featuring Holly Madison.

Vegas can quench your thirst for Broadway too. Catch the highly acclaimed Phantom – the Las Vegas Spectacular at The Venetian or follow the rags-to-riches story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons with Jersey Boys next door at Palazzo. Broadway-scale musicals and top music headliners are all around town – check out VisitLasVegas.com for more details.

Spas

Las Vegas is home to the more than 45 unique and relaxing luxury spas, making it easy to find your favorite retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Escape the heat in Qua Baths and Spa’s Arctic Ice Room at Caesars Palace, where you can relax in the “snow” – in the form of mint-infused air falling from a domed ceiling at 55 degrees. It’s the coolest spa treatment you’ll ever enjoy, and it’s only in Vegas. Or check out the the Palms Place Pool & Spa, which combines the cultural histories of Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco and Spain and is the first spa in Las Vegas to offer a hammam – a traditional Turkish bath.

Other refreshing and invigorating signature treatments can be found at the Canyon Ranch Spa at The Venetian, the Spa and Salon at Encore and Spa Bellagio.

The Spa at Red Rock offers private treatment suites that appear to float on the water. Come see this sleek, ultra-modern retreat complete with a state-of-the-art fitness center and salon.

Pools

Las Vegas’ fabulous pools are the perfect appetizer, whether you just want to catch a few rays or join in on some of the most exciting poolside parties anywhere.

Wet Republic, a 53,000-square-foot ultra pool at MGM Grand, features the only two saltwater pools on the Strip. You can enjoy European-style sunbathing at Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay and get rid of pesky tan lines.

Other great pool parties can be found at TAO Beach, on the roof of TAO Nightclub at The Venetian, and at the Palms Pool & Bungalows, and the pools at Encore Las Vegas also play host to parties for XS nightclub.

Golf

Is golf your game? Las Vegas is one place where every course is a full meal – the city globally recognized for both the abundance and the quality of its golf courses. There are more than 60 courses within a one-hour radius of the city, each with its own singular character and set of attributes, and many designed by the top names in the sport, from Nicklaus, Fazio and Dye, to Jones, Casper and Palmer.

Las Vegas boasts a number of courses that are truly unique to the destination, starting with Wynn Las Vegas, the only resort golf course on the Las Vegas Strip. This 18-hole on-site championship golf course, designed by Tom Fazio and Steve Wynn, includes a 35-foot waterfall and a manmade mountain that provides the ultimate in privacy.

The gorgeous Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson is home to the Butch Harmon School of Golf. Harmon’s pupils include Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, so you’ll learn from the best on a breathtaking course, and then enjoy the club’s amazing amenities such as the 30,000-square-foot European-themed clubhouse.

Outdoor activities

After enjoying fine cuisine indoors, enjoy some of the beautiful outdoors – the historic Hoover Dam and scenic Red Rock Canyon are within reach of the Las Vegas Valley, along with great hiking at the Valley of Fire.
