What is Vegas Uncork’d?
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), anchored by Bellagio, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and Wynn/Encore, teamed up for the 4th Annual Vegas Uncork’d, presented by Bon Appétit magazine, May 6-9, 2010. Vegas Uncork’d, the world’s most exciting culinary event, is a four-day, high-profile extravaganza that features an array of one-of-a-kind and immersive experiences with world class celebrity chefs, vintners and the biggest names in the culinary arts. All set against the exciting backdrop of Las Vegas every year over Mother's Day Weekend.
Is there a dress code for the events?
There is no enforced dress code, however, we do ask you dress in keeping with the nature of the event. Shorts and t-shirts are not considered appropriate attire for evening events. Please also note that some events are outdoors so please check the weather and dress appropriately. Las Vegas tends to be windy in the Spring. Cocktail attire is appropriate for the Fashion Feast.
Better By The Bay is on a sand beach, and guests will be walking in the sand. Practical shoes are recommended, as high heels may be challenging.
As noted in the event descriptions, some events will include complementary access to a particular club after hours. Dress codes are strictly enforced at the clubs, so check ahead for details.
When Does Will Call Open?
Will call opens one hour prior to the start time of each event.
Can I purchase tickets to events at the door?
The following three events will have tickets available at the door:
* Shinkansen to Shibuya tickets for $80 per person based on availability.
* Grand Tasting tickets for $195 per person based on availability.
* Celebrity Chef Blackjack Tournament spectator tickets for $175 based on availability.
* Palazzo After Hours: Crushed Wine That Rocks tickets for $115 General Admission and $175 VIP per person based on availability.
All other tickets must be purchased in advance by phone 877.884.8993 or online www.vegasuncorked.com.
Cash and credit cards (AMEX, MC, VISA, DISC) will be accepted. No checks or money orders.
Is there a wait-list for sold out events?
Yes. If an event is listed as "sold out" on the website, you can call 877.884.899 and be placed on the wait-list should more tickets become available.
When will tickets be mailed out?
Tickets are no longer being mailed. If you have not received your tickets yet, be sure to bring your confirmation receipt. We will have your tickets at will call which opens one hour prior to the event start time.
If I do not live in the United States, how will I receive my tickets?
International residents should select the WILL CALL option and can pick up their tickets at the entrance of each individual event for which they have purchased tickets. Please print out your confirmation email and bring a picture ID and the credit card you used for your purchase. Please present these items to the ticket taker at each event you are attending.
Can I get a refund should I decide not to attend an event I have already purchased ticket for? Can I switch tickets for another event?
All tickets are non-refundable nor can they be exchanged for a different event.
Are there special hotel deals for ticket buyers?
Our hotel partners have the opportunity to develop special offers and they are in development. Click TRAVEL on the navigation bar and be sure to check back for updates. You may also inquire with the hotel partners themselves to see if they have any offers available.
Are menus available in advance?
Most events will have menus posted on www.vegasuncorked.com. If it is not currently listed, check back.
Can I request a menu substitution?
No. There are no substitutions. All menus are at the sole discretion of the host chef(s).
May I order beverages that are not listed on the menu?
Additional beverages that are not on the provided menu may be purchased at your own expense.
Can I bring my children or anyone under 21 to an event?
No one under the age of 21, including children in strollers accompanying their parents, will be admitted. Ticketholders under the age of 21 may be admitted to the Lion King Brunch and Meet & Greet.
Are events wheelchair accessible?
Yes, all events are wheelchair accessible. However, please note that in the case of the Grand Tasting, which is a non-seated, walk-around event, that guests will have to maneuver between crowds to the various food and wine stations. It is suggested that handicap patrons contact customer service in advance so that any necessary accommodations may be made.
Is there an “all pass” I can buy that will get me into all events?
Currently, Vegas Uncork’d does not have such a pass. We invite you to create your own weekend experience. Each event within the weekend is carefully crafted to maximize guest experience. We pay particular attention to providing our guests intimate access to our cast of award winning chefs and other personalities. As such, many of our events have very limited tickets and that does not allow for an all pass.
Does Vegas Uncork’d have a charity partner?
Yes. Vegas Uncork’d has teamed up with Three Square, the local Las Vegas food bank, which is part of the national Feeding America alliance. A portion of the event’s proceeds go to Three Square. And as a national event, Vegas Uncork’d supports giving to food banks in whatever towns our guests may live in.
